Cramer St Gallery and CMJZ ARTS are delighted to announce the successful opening of A Day In A Life, the anticipated new solo exhibition by British self-taught zeitgeist artist Chris Moon.
Hosted in the striking, contemporary setting of Cramer St Gallery within Marylebone Square, the exhibition marks a powerful return for Moon, whose last London solo show took place in 2020. This new body of work documents the artist’s retreat to the Devon coastline, where he withdrew from London to focus on a deeply introspective visual diary. Rendered through immersive pastel hues and abstraction, the work captures Moon’s self-imposed solitude, emotional renewal, and dream-inflected daily vignettes.
About Chris Moon
From his East London studio, Chris Moon renders pensive emotional states of transcendence with instinctive, self-taught grace. His early independent solo exhibitions, Home (2011) and Reverie (2013), were met with acclaim, followed by installations in New York (2013), Los Angeles (2015), and London (2016). His work has appeared in Interview Magazine, Flaunt, Dazed, Another, and Port Magazine, among others.
In 2018, he was the subject of Jack Bond’s documentary An Artist’s Eyes.
A Day In A Life marks his first solo exhibition since 2020.
