Introducing: The Rock N Roll Freakshow Experience, a travelling spectacle set to redefine what a rock night can be. Kicking off at Electric Brixton on 21st March, this is not another lineup on a poster. It is a fully immersive collision of live music, celebrity DJs, burlesque, circus performers and carnival chaos, curated independently by PROFESSIONAL 101 themselves.

Billed by the band as “the world’s greatest mid-life crisis,” independent band, PROFESSIONAL 101 are aiming squarely at Number 1 with their debut album This Is The Sound (out September). Every ticket and album bundle sold for the Freakshow contributes directly to that mission. This is not nostalgia. This is a declaration that rock and roll is fun, communal and open to everyone.

Sharing the bill for the launch event are IDLES (DJ set), Kid Bookie, DeVere, and Princess Cyberspace (DJ Set), alongside roaming freakshows and performers designed to turn the traditional gig format inside out.

The Rock N Roll Freakshow Experience is where punk ethos, alternative culture and rock and roll fuse into one unruly organism. Shock and thrill sit side by side. Chaos winks back at you. It is a full-throttle invitation to shed your skin and step into a world built by the band and their community.

Fronted by Mani Waldner (vocals), with Rob Hennebry and Paul Fifield on guitars, Daniel Butcher on bass, and Jonny Brister on drums, PROFESSIONAL 101 delivers a lean, urgent and uncompromising sound. Jagged riffs meet biting social commentary, all distilled into an explosive live show that has been sharpened through relentless touring.

Their forthcoming debut album, This Is The Sound, was produced by Grammy Award winner Danton Supple, known for his work with Suede, Coldplay and Morrissey. The early video for single “In The City,” directed by Gorillaz collaborator Seb Monk, set the tone with punch and precision, while live favourite “Atomic Children” has evolved into an anthem through direct crowd connection.

“The live shows have fed back into the record,” says Waldner. “They’ve made the new material more anthemic. The crowd shapes what we become.”

That symbiosis is at the heart of the Freakshow. PROFESSIONAL 101 are not stepping onto a classic bill. They are building their own world. Independently driven, creatively unrestrained, and committed to proving that rock culture can still surprise, they are forging a movement rather than chasing a moment.

This is not just a night out.

It is a beautiful collision of alternative chaos, raw energy and unapologetic self-expression.
