Art enthusiasts and fans of the surreal are invited to dive into the imaginative universe of local artist Ben Poultney, who goes by the alias of Benjibonz
. This month, his latest exhibition featuring a captivating collection of surrealist cartoons, will be showcased at BoxPark in both Shoreditch and Croydon.
As the visionary founder of Draw My Town, Ben’s work is a colourful blend crafted from nostalgia and childhood imagination. His pieces explore the bizarre and whimsical, inviting viewers to step into a realm that is both weird and wonderful.
Ben’s artwork embodies his profound passion for art and his commitment to expanding the horizons of creativity. Each piece is a product of his imagination, crafted without any AI involvement. This results in creations that are not only deeply personal but also universally relatable, resonating with shared memories of how we once perceived the world.

While the displayed artworks will not be for sale, attendees will have the opportunity to request personalised commissions.The exhibition is free to browse for all of April, and to celebrate – Ben is hosting an event at the Box Park, Shoreditch venue on 15th April (from 7pm) where you can speak to the artist directly about his work, grab some drinks and have a browse.
